Laurence is a chartered accountant with a career in credit and outsourced spreading services.
Laurence is CEO of CEEi, a South African based leader in Credit Intelligence and Co-founder and Director of i9 Partners experts in Expected Credit Loss measurement and automation.
He spent almost 25 years with Moody’s in Europe and FirstRand group, Africa’s largest bank before leading an MBO of FirstRand’s spreading business.
He runs a credit outsourcing company and consults to banks, asset managers and corporations globally.
Shabnam is a chartered accountant and experienced senior banking executive who is expert and passionate about improving the efficiency of credit operations and their digital transformation.
Shabnum is a former head of judgmental credit at FNB Business and commercial credit at Capitec.
She is CEO of a banking advisory business working with some of South Africa’s largest financial institutions supporting their credit digital transformation initiatives.
Elaine is an expert in solutions for credit risk management, including spreading software, model development, validation and calibration, and leading-edge practices for implementing risk management systems.
Having worked in a wide variety of roles, she has acquired a broad understanding of credit from the perspectives of both lender and analytics provider. In 15 years with Moody’s Analytics, she was an executive responsible for developing and managing a number of software products and solutions related to credit assessments. Before coming to Moody’s, Elaine worked in London at HSBC, Barclays Capital and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. She was responsible for day-to-day project management of modeling efforts and model implementation.
Elaine has published chapters in Risk Books volumes and was awarded “Market and Credit Risk Professional of the Year, Women in Technology and Data Awards” in 2020.
Rosh is a chartered accountant and specialist in the field of the production and audit of annual financial statements.
He was co-founder of CQS Technology, Africa’s leading automation innovator for auditors, professional accountants, internal auditors and risk managers. Among the positions he held were Chief Product Officer and COO at its CaseWare Africa division and was co-lead on CaseWare International’s mapping taxonomy design and The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Illustrative financial statements for both IFRS and IFRS for SME.
He is also an author, guest lecturer and past member of SAICA committees and working groups. Rosh has built a deep understanding and extensive network in the auditing profession and it’s ecosystem.
